พิธีเปิดกิจกรรม “มวยไทยมาสเตอร์คลาส” ณ นครรีโอเดจาเนโร บราซิล
เมื่อวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2568 นายมาริษ เสงี่ยมพงษ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดกิจกรรม “มวยไทยมาสเตอร์คลาส” ณ นครรีโอเดจาเนโร บราซิล ซึ่งจัดโดยคณะอนุกรรมการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมด้านกีฬา ภายใต้คณะกรรมการพัฒนาซอฟต์พาวเวอร์แห่งชาติ ร่วมกับการกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบราซิเลีย สมาพันธ์มวยไทยบราซิล และเครือข่ายในท้องถิ่น
กิจกรรม “มวยไทยมาสเตอร์คลาส” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่มวยไทยทั้งในเชิงกีฬาและจิตวิญญาณมวยไทย โดยเชิญนักมวยไทยที่มีชื่อเสียงเป็นที่ยอมรับเดินทางไปสอนทักษะมวยไทยให้แก่ผู้ที่ชื่นชอบมวยไทยในบราซิล ในโอกาสนี้ รัฐมนตรีว่าการฯ ได้มอบป้ายรับรองแก่ยิมมวยไทยท้องถิ่นที่มีการดำเนินการตามมาตรฐาน Standard Muaythai Gym อันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการส่งเสริมคุณภาพและมาตรฐานการสอนมวยไทยทั่วโลก
รัฐบาลไทยให้ความสำคัญกับมวยไทยในฐานะซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ที่มีศักยภาพ โดยในปี 2568 กระทรวงการต่างประเทศพร้อมร่วมสนับสนุนคณะอนุกรรมการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมด้านกีฬา การกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย และเครือข่ายในประเทศต่าง ๆ ส่งเสริมมวยไทย ผ่านกิจกรรมมวยไทยมาสเตอร์คลาสและกิจกรรมอื่นๆ อันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการส่งเสริมความนิยมมวยไทยให้ ‘รุกไปในระดับโลก’ ตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล
On 27 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs presided over the opening ceremony of MUAYTHAI MASTER CLASS in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event was co-organized by the Sub-Committee on the Promotion of the Sports Industry under the National Soft Power Development Committee and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) with support from the Royal Thai Embassy in Brasilia, the Brazilian Confederation of Traditional Muaythai, and various local partners.
The event is aimed at sharing the rich knowledge and cultural heritage of Muaythai with all Muaythai lovers by inviting the professional Muaythai masters to provide practical training and techniques. On this occasion, the Minister also presented plaques to local gyms that achieved the Standard Muaythai Gym certification as part of the elevation of the quality and standard of Muaythai instruction worldwide.
The Royal Thai Government places high importance on promoting Muaythai as a key national soft power. In 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proud to work in partnership with the Sub-Committee on the Promotion of Sports Industry and the Sport Authority of Thailand (SAT) as well as local partners to promote Muaythai through MUAYTHAI MASTER CLASS and other activities to advance the government’s vision.
