กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ชวนทูตชิมข้าว เปิดมุมมองใหม่ข้าวไทย
กระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมกับบริษัท คลาวด์แอนด์กราวนด์ จำกัด (The Cloud) จัดกิจกรรม “Taste Rice & Eat Rice” ชวนคณะทูตต่างประเทศประจำประเทศไทยร่วมสัมผัสมิติใหม่ ๆ ของข้าวและผลิตภัณฑ์ข้าวไทย โดยมีนายธนรัช จงสุทธานามณีเลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ในฐานะผู้แทนรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศกล่าวต้อนรับ และนางสาวแพทองธาร ชินวัตร รองประธานคณะกรรมการยุทธศาสตร์ซอฟต์พาวเวอร์แห่งชาติให้เกียรติกล่าวเปิดงาน โดยคณะทูต พร้อมคู่สมรส จาก ๓๔ ประเทศ ได้ร่วมกิจกรรม “ชิมข้าว” “กินข้าว” และรับฟังการบรรยายหัวข้อ “สินค้าข้าวสร้างสรรค์”
งาน “Taste Rice & Eat Rice” เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ “Thailand Rice Fest 2023” ระหว่างวันที่ ๑๔–๑๗ ธันวาคม ๒๕๖๖ ที่ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ ซึ่งกระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมผลักดันภายใต้ภารกิจการทูตเศรษฐกิจเชิงรุก เพื่อส่งเสริมสถานะความเป็น “ครัวของโลก” ของไทย และสนับสนุนขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันให้ภาคเกษตรกรรมไทย Culinary Connection: Foreign Ambassadors Savor Thai Rice in Thailand Rice Fest 2023
On 14 December 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with Cloud & Ground (The Cloud), invited members of diplomatic corps to the “Taste Rice & Eat Rice” event. On this occasion, Mr. Thanarat Chongsuttanamanee, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Deputy Chairperson of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, delivered remarks highlighting the importance of technology and innovation as well as modern marketing and creativity in ensuring Thailand’s rice production competitiveness. During this event, ambassadors and their spouses from 34 countries participated in “Taste Rice” activity to taste different varieties of Thai rice, “Eat Rice” activity to sample rice-infused dishes & beverages, and listened to presentation on “Innovative Rice Products”.
“Taste Rice & Eat Rice” was part of Thailand Rice Fest 2023, from 14 to 17 December at QSNCC. The event is in line with the Ministry’s proactive economic diplomacy, with an aim to promote Thailand as the “Kitchen of the World” and increase the competitiveness of Thai agricultural sector at the international level.
