สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองดูไบ จัดกิจกรรมตลาดนัดสุขสันต์ “โหมโรงสงกรานต์”
โดยมีพี่น้องชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ เข้าร่วมชมสินค้า จับจ่ายใช้สอย และร่วมกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ กว่า 500 คนตลอดวัน
สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้จัดงานตลาดนัดสุขสันต์อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้ชุมชนไทยในรัฐดูไบและรัฐอื่น ๆ ของสหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ได้มีโอกาสมาพบปะและสร้างความคุ้นเคยกันเป็นประจำทุกเดือนในช่วงที่อากาศเอื้ออำนวย ตลอดจนร่วมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมไทยโดยเฉพาะอาหาร สินค้า ผลิตภัณฑ์ไทย ให้แก่ชาวต่างชาติที่มาเข้าร่วมงานด้วย
ในกิจกรรมตลาดนัดฯ ครั้งนี้ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ จัดเตรียมกิจกรรมพิเศษ “โหมโรงสงกรานต์” เพื่อให้ชุมชนไทยได้ร่วมทำกิจกรรมเนื่องในโอกาสเทศกาลสงกรานต์ล่วงหน้า ก่อนที่จะเข้าสู่ช่วงถือศีลอดของพี่น้องชาวมุสลิม โดยมีกิจกรรมหลากหลาย อาทิการสรงน้ำพระพุทธรูป กิจกรรมหนูน้อยสงกรานต์ Challenge และซุ้มเกมส์ต่าง ๆ ซึ่งมีพี่น้องชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติจำนวนมากสนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างสนุกสนานภายใต้บรรยากาศที่อบอุ่นและเป็นกันเอง และวัฒนธรรมอันดีงามของไทย
สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ขอขอบคุณพี่น้องชาวไทยทุกคน ตลอดจนหน่วยงานและชมรมต่าง ๆได้แก่ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) สำนักงานดูไบและตะวันออกกลาง ชมรมสตรีไทยในดูไบและรัฐทางตอนเหนือ และชมรมฟุตบอลไทยดูไบเอฟซี ที่ได้ให้การสนับสนุนการจัดงานดังกล่าวอย่างแข็งขัน ซึ่งทำให้งานสำเร็จลุล่วงเป็นอย่างดี และสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ พร้อมที่จะสนับสนุนกิจกรรมเพื่อประโยชน์และความสุขของพี่น้องชาวไทยอย่างเต็มที่ในโอกาสต่อไป
On 19 March 2023, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai, organized the Souq Sook-San “Songkran: Early Celebration”. The event received a lot of attention from the Thai community and foreigners, with more than 500 attendees throughout the day.
The Souq Sook-San is held monthly by the Royal Thai Consulate-General during the proper weather conditions to bring the Thai community in Dubai and other emirates of the UAE together. Moreover, the event aims to promote Thai culture, especially Thai street food and products, to foreign attendees.
On this occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General also held a special event, “Songkran: Early Celebration”, an opportunity for the Thai community to join and celebrate the Songkran festival together with many Thai cultural activities such as water bathing of the Buddha statue, Songkran kids’ challenge and festive game kiosks. This special event attracted interest of many Thai and foreign participants who enjoyed Thai cultural activities with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Royal Thai Consulate-General wishes to express our sincere gratitude to all members of the Thai community as well as participating agencies, namely, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Dubai & Middle East Office, the Thai Ladies Club in Dubai and North Emirates and the Thai Dubai Football Club, for their kind support and active participation in the said event. The Royal Thai Consulate-General also stands ready to fully support activities for the happiness and harmony of the Thai community in Dubai and the northern emirates of UAE.
