ร่วมคณะรักษาการ นรม. เยี่ยมและให้กำลังใจ จนท.ชายแดน และ ปชช. ผู้ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา พร้อมติดตามข้อมูลผลกระทบจากการโจมตีเป้าหมายพลเรือน และการวางทุ่นระเบิด ละเมิด IHL/อนุสัญญาออตตาวา ซึ่งไทยได้เดินหน้าร้องเรียนในเวที UN ย้ำไทยปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงหยุดยิง 13 ข้ออย่างเคร่งครัด มุ่งสันติภาพควบคู่การเรียกร้องความยุติธรรม
โดยในช่วงเช้ารัฐมนตรีฯ ได้ร่วมพบปะให้กำลังใจ และมอบสิ่งของให้กับประชาชน และส่งประชาชนจากศูนย์อพยพที่มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลอีสาน วิทยาเขตสุรินทร์ เดินทางกลับบ้าน และเข้าร่วมการประชุมติดตามรายงานสถานการณ์ ผ่านระบบทางไกลร่วมกับผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสุรินทร์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ และผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี พร้อมทั้งนายอำเภอทุกอำเภอของ จังหวัดดังกล่าว เพื่อรับรายงานเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ล่าสุดในพื้นที่
On 9 August 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited Surin province with Acting Prime Minister to meet and support frontline officers and civilians affected by the Thai-Cambodian border situation. He followed up on the impacts of the attacks targeting civilians and the use of landmines, which violate IHL and the Ottawa Convention. Thailand has registered her strong protest at relevant UN forums while continuing to reaffirm strict adherence to the 13-point ceasefire agreement. Thailand maintains her commitment to peace alongside the pursuit of justice.
In meeting those affected by the situation, the Foreign Minister offered moral support and handed out care kits, as well as met with those staying at the shelter in Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Surin Camp, who are preparing to return home. The Minister then attended a hybrid meeting chaired by the DPM, with the governors of Surin, Buriram, Srisaket, and Ubonratchathani provinces and all the district chiefs of the said provinces, to receive the latest updates on the situation.
