ร่วมการหารือระหว่างนายกรัฐมนตรีกับเลขาธิการอาเซียน ณ สำนักเลขาธิการอาเซียน กรุงจาการ์ตา
เมื่อวันที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2569 รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเข้าร่วมการหารือระหว่างนายกรัฐมนตรีกับเลขาธิการอาเซียน ณ สำนักเลขาธิการอาเซียน กรุงจาการ์ตา โดยไทยย้ำว่า อาเซียนยังคงเป็นศูนย์กลางของนโยบายต่างประเทศของไทย ไทยมีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะร่วมขับเคลื่อนอาเซียน และย้ำบทบาทของสำนักเลขาธิการอาเซียนในการสนับสนุนประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนภายใต้บริบทโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็ว
ในโอกาสนี้ นายกรัฐมนตรีได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์ยืนยันความสำคัญของอาเซียนต่อไทยและภูมิภาคว่า อาเซียนยังคงเป็นแกนกลางของนโยบายต่างประเทศของไทย ไทยเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความสำเร็จที่ผ่านมาของอาเซียนหลายด้าน เช่น การรักษาสันติภาพ เสถียรภาพ และการส่งเสริมการเจริญเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจของภูมิภาค ซึ่งเน้นการปรับตัวให้เข้ากับสถานการณ์ในแต่ละเหตุการณ์ รวมทั้งกล่าวถึงบริบทโลกในปัจจุบันที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็วและความท้าทายแต่ละเรื่องมีความเกี่ยวข้องกัน
นอกจากนั้น ยังได้กล่าวถึงวิสัยทัศน์ 3R เพื่อสร้างอาเซียนแห่งอนาคต ได้แก่ (1) การเสริมสร้างความเป็นภูมิภาคนิยมให้เข้มแข็งโดยการรักษาเอกภาพและความเป็นแกนกลางของอาเซียน (Regionalism) ควบคู่กับการประยุกต์ใช้หลักการสำคัญของอาเซียนอย่างยืดหยุ่น (2) การสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้ครอบคลุมด้านเศรษฐกิจและความมั่นคง (Resilience) โดยเสริมสร้างห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ความมั่นคงทางพลังงานและอาหาร การเชื่อมโยงทางดิจิทัล และขีดความสามารถทางเทคโนโลยี รวมถึงการขยายความร่วมมือกับประเทศขนาดกลางและประเทศกำลังพัฒนาอื่น ๆ และ (3) การสร้างความสามารถในการตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของประชาชนและความเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลก (Relevance) และคงบทบาทหุ้นส่วนที่สร้างสรรค์ในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก
On 4 August 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs joined a meeting between the Prime Minister and the Secretary-General of ASEAN at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. The Thai side reaffirmed that ASEAN remains the center of Thailand’s foreign policy, underscoring Thailand’s commitment to advancing ASEAN and highlighting the important role of the ASEAN Secretariat in supporting Member States amid a rapidly changing global landscape.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister delivered remarks reaffirming the importance of ASEAN to Thailand and the region, noting that ASEAN is central to Thailand’s foreign policy. Thailand has been a part of ASEAN’s past achievements in many areas, such as maintaining peace and stability and promoting regional economic growth, underscoring ASEAN’s ability to adapt to evolving circumstances while addressing the rapidly changing global environment.
Prime Minister further outlined the “3R” vision for building ASEAN’s future: (1) Regionalism- strengthening regionalism by upholding ASEAN unity and centrality, alongside the flexible application of ASEAN’s key principles; (2) Resilience- enhancing comprehensive resilience across both economic and security dimensions by strengthening supply chains, energy and food security, digital connectivity, and technological capacity, as well as expanding cooperation with middle powers and other developing countries; and (3) Relevance- ensuring ASEAN remains responsive to the needs of its people and to global changes, while maintaining its role as a constructive partner at both the regional and global levels.
