พิธีเปิดงานเทศกาลไทย ณ กรุงโซล ครั้งที่ 11 (Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival 2026)
เมื่อวันที่ 20 มิถุนายน 2569 นายธีรกุล นิยม ผู้แทนพิเศษของรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงานเทศกาลไทย ณ กรุงโซล ครั้งที่ 11 (Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival 2026) โดยมีนายควั้ก ซัง-ออน สมาชิกรัฐสภาสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ประจำเขตจองโน กรุงโซล ในฐานะผู้แทนรัฐบาลสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี เข้าร่วมในฐานะแขกเกียรติยศ พร้อมด้วยนายธานี แสงรัตน์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโซล ตลอดจนผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนของไทยและเกาหลีใต้ ชุมชนชาวไทยและเกาหลีใต้ รวมถึงนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติเข้าร่วมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก
ผู้แทนพิเศษของรัฐมนตรีฯ ย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของกระทรวงฯ ในส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ของไทยผ่านนโยบายการทูตเศรษฐกิจและการทูตวัฒนธรรมเชิงรุก พร้อมเน้นย้ำว่าความสัมพันธ์อันใกล้ชิดและความผูกพันระหว่างประชาชนไทยกับเกาหลีเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของความร่วมมือในทุกมิติ ทั้งนี้ งานดังกล่าวสะท้อนความสำเร็จของการบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐกับเอกชนของไทย ได้แก่ ทีมประเทศไทย ณ กรุงโซล สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ (องค์การมหาชน) สำนักงานนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย กรมพัฒนาชุมชน หน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ เมืองพัทยา จังหวัดจันทบุรี สถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนศิลป์ ศิลปินจากค่ายต่าง ๆ และชุมชนไทย กับหน่วยงานภาคีฝ่ายเกาหลีที่ร่วมให้การสนับสนุน
เทศกาลไทย ณ กรุงโซล เป็นหนึ่งในเทศกาลไทยที่ได้รับความนิยมสูงที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกและเป็นเทศกาลสำคัญประจำปีที่สาธารณชนเกาหลีเฝ้ารอและติดตาม สำหรับปีนี้ จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 20 – 21 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ จตุรัสชองเกชอน ภายใต้แนวคิด “Creative Life and Creative Heartbeat” หรือ “ชีวิตและพลังสร้างสรรค์” ซึ่งสะท้อนพลังของผู้คน ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ผ่านวัฒนธรรมและวิถีชีวิตร่วมสมัยของไทยและสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี เพื่อสนับสนุนการนำเสนอภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศไทยให้ชาวต่างชาติได้สัมผัสผ่านประสบการณ์จริง พร้อมเปิดโอกาสให้สินค้า บริการ และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของไทยก้าวจากระดับท้องถิ่นสู่สากล
กิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วยการออกคูหานำเสนออุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ไทยและการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรมต่าง ๆ รวมถึงนาฏศิลป์ไทย การสาธิตมวยไทย การแสดงคอนเสิร์ตและกิจกรรมพบปะแฟนคลับจากศิลปินและนักแสดงแนวหน้าของไทย โดยปีนี้ได้ขยายพื้นที่จัดงานเพิ่มขึ้น 2 เท่า เพื่อรองรับผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า 100,000 คน
On 20 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Theerakun Niyom, Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, presided over the opening ceremony of the 11th Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival. The Hon. Kwak Sang-eon, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, attended as the Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, representatives from Thai and Korean government agencies and partner organizations, members of the Thai and Korean communities, and international visitors.
The Special Representative reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to promote Thailand’s creative economy through proactive Economic Diplomacy and Cultural Diplomacy. He also highlighted that the close relationship and strong people-to-people ties between Thailand and the Republic of Korea serve as a key foundation for expanding cooperation across all areas. The Festival reflected the successful collaboration among Thai public and private agencies, including Team Thailand in Seoul, the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization), the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Community Development Department, agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the City of Pattaya, Chanthaburi Province, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Thai artists, and the Thai community, together with Korean partner otganizations.
“Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival” is one of the most popular Thai festivals in East Asia, and is an annual landmark event thai is highly anticipated by the Korean public. This year’s Festival took place from 20-21 June 2026 at Cheonggye Plaza under the theme “Creative Life and Creative Heartbeat,” reflecting the creativity of people and the exchange of ideas and experiences through the contemporary cultures and lifestyles of Thailand and the Republic of Korea. The Festival supports Thailand’s nation-branding efforts by offering visitors firsthand experience of Thai culture while creating opportunities for Thai products, services, and creative industries to expand from local to the global stage.
Festival activities included exhibitions showcasing Thailand’s creative industries, cultural performances, traditional Thai dance, Muaythai demonstrations, concerts, and fan-meeting activities featuring leading Thai artists and actors. This year, the Festival venue has been doubled in size to accommodate over 100,000 visitors.
