สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์เข้าร่วมงาน International Christmas Bazaar ครั้งที่ 23
ระหว่างวันที่ 2 – 3 ธันวาคม 2566 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ เข้าร่วมออกร้านในงาน International Christmas Bazaar ครั้งที่ 23 ณ Old Depot OSY (Amaxostasio) เขต Gazi กรุงเอเธนส์ เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์สินค้าอาหารของไทย ข้าวหอมมะลิ ผลไม้กระป๋อง เครื่องดื่มชาไทย รวมทั้งประชาสัมพันธ์การท่องเที่ยวและวัฒนธรรมไทย อันจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความนิยมไทยและ Soft Power ของไทยในกรีซโดยในปีนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือจาก บริษัท Papanastasiou S.A ซึ่งมีร้านค้าปลีกภายใต้ชื่อ La Tienda ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำเข้า และตัวแทนจำหน่ายอาหารแห้ง ขนมขบเคี้ยวโดยตรงจากไทย อาทิ บริษัท สุรีย์ อินเตอร์ฟู้ดส์ จำกัด บริษัท ไทย อกริ ฟู้ดส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) และผดุงศิลป์ ฟู้ด รายได้จากการออกร้านจะมอบให้กับสมาคมการกุศล FRIENDS OF THE CHILD ในการสงเคราะห์เด็กผู้ยากไร้และต้องการความช่วยเหลือในสังคม
งาน International Christmas Bazaar จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยสมาคม FRIENDS OF THE CHILD เพื่อหารายได้ในการสงเคราะห์เด็กผู้ยากไร้และครอบครัวที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือ ทั้งในเรื่องการศึกษา สุขภาพ อาหาร และความเป็นอยู่ รวมทั้งมีศูนย์ดูแลเด็กเล็กและโรงเรียนอนุบาลในการดูแล
The Royal Thai Embassy in Athens participated in the International Christmas Bazaar 2023
On 2 – 3 December 2023 the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens participated in the 23rd International Christmas Bazaar at Old Depot OSY (Amaxostasio) in Gazi, Athens. The Embassy’s booth, in cooperation with Papanastasiou S.A, which is a distributor of Thai food products in Greece and owner of La Tienda grocery stores in Athens, featured premium Thai jasmine rice, Thai food products and ingredients, canned fruits as well as tourism and cultural information materials. Proceeds from the participation will be donated to the Non-Profit Association “FRIENDS OF THE CHILD” to support the children in need in the society.
The International Christmas Bazaar is an annual event organised by FRIENDS OF THE CHILD to raise fund for the charity activities of the association. The Association provides various assistance programmes to support and secure all the required monthly needs for children, namely food, clothing, psychological and counseling support and medical care. The Association also operates a daycare center for children in need, situated in Kerameikos.
