เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมคณะปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศไทยพบหารือข้อราชการกับฝ่ายมาเลเซีย
นายศรัณย์ เจริญสุวรรณ ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศไทย และคณะ เดินทางเยือนมาเลเซียระหว่างวันที่ 22 – 23 สิงหาคม 2566 เพื่อติดตามผลการเยือนไทยของ YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim นายกรัฐมนตรีมาเลเซีย เมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ที่ผ่านมาและผลักดันความร่วมมือไทย – มาเลเซียในสาขาต่าง ๆ ให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรม
วันที่ 23 สิงหาคม 2566 ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศศรัณย์ เจริญสุวรรณ พบหารือกับ Dato’ Sri Amran bin Mohamed Zin ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศมาเลเซีย ส่งเสริมการพบปะและการเยือนระดับสูงระหว่างไทยกับมาเลเซียให้สม่ำเสมอยิ่งขึ้น ขับเคลื่อนกลไกความร่วมมือทวิภาคี การพัฒนาความเชื่อมโยง เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การลงทุน เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลและ BCG การพัฒนาพื้นที่ชายแดนรวมถึงความร่วมมือด้านสังคม วัฒนธรรม การท่องเที่ยว การศึกษาและวิชาการ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นในประเด็นภูมิภาคและระหว่างประเทศ ผลักดันความร่วมมือ เน้นการมองไปข้างหน้าบนพื้นฐานของผลประโยชน์ร่วมสองฝ่าย และผลประโยชน์ของประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ
ในวันเดียวกัน ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศยังได้พบหารือกับ Raja Dato’ Nushirwan bin Zainal Abidin เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติมาเลเซีย ณ สภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติมาเลเซีย โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและแนวทางส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในประเด็นความมั่นคงในภูมิภาคและระหว่างประเทศที่เป็นผลประโยชน์ร่วมกันการหารือเป็นไปในบรรยากาศอบอุ่นและฉันมิตร โดยนางสาวลดา ภู่มาศเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ เข้าร่วมการพบหารือ ตลอดจนเป็นโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ Dato’ Sri Amran bin Mohamed Zin ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศมาเลเซีย และ Raja Dato’ Nushirwan bin Zainal Abidin เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติมาเลเซีย อย่างเป็นทางการ หลังจากที่เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้าเฝ้าทูลเกล้าฯถวายพระราชสาส์นตราตั้งแด่สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีแห่งมาเลเซีย ณ พระราชวัง Istana Negara เมื่อวันที่ 17 สิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา
Ambassador joined the delegation of Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand in discussions with Malaysian counterparts
H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand led a delegation to visit Malaysia on 22 – 23 August 2023 to follow up on the visit to Thailand by YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, last February, and to push forward tangible cooperation between Thailand and Malaysia in various fields.
On 23 August 2023, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, met with Dato’ Sri Amran bin Mohamed Zin, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. Both discussed to promote regular high-level visits and meetings between Thailand and Malaysia, and drive forward bilateral cooperation mechanisms, connectivity development, strengthening of economic cooperation in trade, investment, digital economy and BCG, as well as border development and social, culture, tourism, education and academic cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues, looking ahead on fostering cooperation based on mutual interest for the benefits of the peoples of both countries.
On the same day, the Permanent Secretary also met with Raja Dato’ Nushirwan bin Zainal Abidin, Director General of the National Security Council of Malaysia, at the National Security Council. The two sides exchanged views on ways to promote cooperation on regional and international security issues of mutual interest.
H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia attended the discussions which were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It was also an opportunity for Her Excellency to officially called on Dato’ Sri Amran bin Mohamed Zin, Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, and Raja Dato’ Nushirwan bin Zainal Abidin, Director General of the National Security Council of Malaysia, after the Ambassador’s presentation of the Letter of Credence to His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, at Istana Negara, on 17 August 2023.
