พบหารือกับนายวลาดิมีร์ บาราวีคอฟ เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทย
เมื่อวันที่ 8 มกราคม 2569 นางครองขนิษฐ รักษ์เจริญ อธิบดีกรมยุโรป พบหารือกับนายวลาดิมีร์ บาราวีคอฟ เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงฮานอย ที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยมีนางสาวกรนันท์ สุคนธ์ฤทธิกร กงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์สาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทย เข้าร่วมด้วย
ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคี โดยเฉพาะในการเตรียมการจัดการประชุมปรึกษาหารือทางการเมือง ครั้งที่ 2 ที่กรุงเทพฯ ซึ่งฝ่ายไทยแสดงความพร้อมเป็นเจ้าภาพ รวมถึงการเร่งรัดการจัดทำความตกลง อาทิ ความตกลงว่าด้วยบริการเดินอากาศ และความตกลงยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราสำหรับผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางธรรมดา
อธิบดีกรมยุโรปได้แสดงความยินดีกับเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เนื่องในโอกาสที่สายการบิน Belavia เปิดให้บริการเที่ยวบินเช่าเหมาลำ เส้นทาง กรุงมินสค์ – เมืองพัทยา ในวันที่ 9 มกราคม 2569 และเส้นทาง กรุงมินสค์ – จังหวัดภูเก็ต ในวันที่ 12 มกราคม 2569 ซึ่งเป็นพัฒนาการที่สำคัญในการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว ความใกล้ชิดระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศ และความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจ นอกจากนั้น อธิบดีกรมยุโรปยังได้แจ้งพัฒนาการล่าสุดเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย – กัมพูชา
On 8 January 2026, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Uladzimir Baravikou, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Thailand, with residence in Hanoi. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Koranun Sukonritikorn, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Thailand.
Both sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations, particularly the preparations for the 2nd Political Consultations to be held in Bangkok, which the Thai side expressed readiness to host. They also discussed the possibility to expedite the conclusion of bilateral agreements to promote economic cooperation, including the Air Services Agreement and the Agreement on visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports.
The Director-General also congratulated Belavia Airlines’ inaugural charter flights on the Minsk – Pattaya route on 9 January 2026 and the Minsk – Phuket route on 12 January 2026, noting their significance in promoting tourism, people-to-people exchanges, and economic cooperation. The Director-General also updated the Ambassador on the latest developments in the Thailand – Cambodia border situation.
