พิธีเปิดการแข่งขันฟุตบอลมิตรภาพไทย – กัมพูชา
เมื่อวันที่ 8 มีนาคม 2568 นายมาริษ เสงี่ยมพงษ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และนายปรัก สุคน รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศกัมพูชา ได้เป็นประธานร่วมในพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันฟุตบอลมิตรภาพไทย – กัมพูชา
สำหรับนักฟุตบอลทั้งสองทีมประกอบไปด้วย ศิลปิน ดารา นักมวย influencers และ ตำนานนักฟุตบอลทีมชาติ ของทั้งไทยและกัมพูชา โดยได้จัดขึ้นที่สนามกีฬาแห่งชาติโอลิมปิกกรุงพนมเปญ
การจัดการแข่งขันดังกล่าว สะท้อนถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีระหว่างไทยกับกัมพูชา โดยมีกีฬา ธรรมมะ และวัฒนธรรม เป็นเครื่องมือเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ โดยเฉพาะในบริบทของประชาชนถึงประชาชน
การแข่งขันฟุตบอลมิตรภาพดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมที่ภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ของทั้งสองประเทศจะร่วมกันจัดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดปี 2568 เพื่อฉลองวาระสำคัญของการครบรอบ 75 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและกัมพูชา
ในโอกาสนี้ รัฐมนตรีทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ย้ำความมุ่งมั่นที่จะเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างสองประเทศให้เข้มแข็งและก้าวหน้ายิ่งขึ้นในทุกมิติ
On 8 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, co-presided over the opening ceremony of the Thailand-Cambodia Friendly Football Match.
This special match featured well-known artists, celebrities, professional boxers, social media influencers, and legendary national football players from both countries. The event took place at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.
This event reflects the strong and cordial ties between Thailand and Cambodia in promoting sports, Dhamma, and culture as instruments to enhance closer people-to-people relations.
This football match was part of a series of activities organised by various sectors from both countries throughout 2025 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Cambodia.

On this occasion, both ministers reiterated their commitment to strengthening and advancing the relations and cooperation between the two countries in all dimensions.
