ร่วมการประชุมสามฝ่าย
เมื่อวันที่ 29 ธันวาคม 2568 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมสามฝ่ายกับนายปรัก สุคน รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศกัมพูชา และนายหวัง อี้ สมาชิกกรมการเมือง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกลางด้านกิจการต่างประเทศของพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์จีนและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการล่าสุดของสถานการณ์ไทย-กัมพูชา ภายหลังข้อตกลงหยุดยิง
ไทยและกัมพูชาขอบคุณจีนสำหรับบทบาทและความเข้าใจในการช่วยสนับสนุนการแก้ไขความตึงเครียดระหว่างกันเสมอมา โดยจีนย้ำว่าเคารพหลักการไม่แทรกแซง แต่ประสงค์เป็นช่องทางให้ทั้งสองประเทศได้หารือกันในการสร้างสันติภาพที่ยี่งยืน
ไทยย้ำว่าประสงค์จะมีการพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ก้าวหน้าอย่างเป็นขั้นเป็นตอนภายหลังการหยุดยิง โดยไทยเลือกเส้นทางแห่งสันติภาพเสมอมา และต้องการสร้างความไว้เนื้อเชื่อใจระหว่างรัฐบาลและประชาชนทั้งสองฝ่าย โดยภายหลังการหยุดยิง 72 ชั่วโมง ไทยก็จะพิจารณาส่งทหาร 18 คนให้กัมพูชา และขอให้กัมพูชาอำนวยความสะดวกในการให้คนไทยบริเวณชายแดนได้เดินทางกลับประเทศ และทั้งสองฝ่ายจะหารือกันเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินการต่าง ๆ เช่น การลดการเผชิญหน้า การเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิด การถอนอาวุธหนัก การปราบปรามสแกมเมอร์ เป็นต้น เพื่อนำความปลอดภัยกลับมาสู่ประชาชนทั้งสองฝั่งให้ใช้ชีวิตได้อย่างปกติ
On 29 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended a trilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, and H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.
Thailand and Cambodia expressed appreciation to China for the continuing role and understanding to ease tensions between the two countries. China reiterated its respect for non-interference principle and expressed readiness to be a platform to support lasting peace between the two countries.
Thailand reiterated that adjustment of relations should be done on a step by step basis. Thailand has always chosen the path of peace and sees the need to gradually build mutual trust and confidence between the two governments and peoples. The Thai side will consider the release of 18 soldiers after the 72 hours ceasefire observation period and requests that Cambodia facilitate the return of Thais along the border. Then both sides will further discuss other measures, e.g. the reduction of hostilities, demining, removal of heavy weapons, suppression of scammers, to bring safety to the people along the border.
