พบหารือกับนายเฟร์นันโด กอนซาเลส ไซฟ์เฟ อธิบดีกรมเอเชีย-แปซิฟิก กระทรวงการต่างประเทศเม็กซิโก
เมื่อวันที่ 6 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายเชษฐพันธ์ มากสัมพันธ์ รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้พบหารือกับนายเฟร์นันโด กอนซาเลส ไซฟ์เฟ อธิบดีกรมเอเชีย-แปซิฟิก กระทรวงการต่างประเทศเม็กซิโก ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทยเพื่อเป็นประธานร่วมในการประชุม Political Consultations ไทย – เม็กซิโก ครั้งที่ 6
ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีที่ทั้งสองประเทศได้จัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 50 ปีการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างกัน ในปี 2568 ซึ่งมีส่วนช่วยในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระดับประชาชน ทั้งยังได้เน้นย้ำถึงการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือในสาขาอื่น ๆ ที่เป็นประโยชน์ร่วมกัน โดยเฉพาะการค้า การลงทุน การศึกษา วิชาการ รวมถึงความร่วมมือในเวทีระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือในประเด็นที่ประชาคมโลกให้ความสนใจ ท่ามกลางความท้าทายต่าง ๆ ในโลกปัจจุบัน อาทิ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ อาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ และประเด็นพหุภาคี ซึ่งรวมถึงการปฏิรูปสหประชาชาติ
On 6 November 2025, Mr. Chettapan Maksamphan, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with the Director-General for Asia-Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, on the occasion of his visit to Thailand to co-chair the 6th Thailand – Mexico Political Consultations.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the success of various commemorative activities held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025, which has contributed to strengthening people-to-people ties. They reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in mutually beneficial areas, particularly trade and
investment, education and academic exchanges, as well as collaboration in international fora. They also emphasized the importance of advancing joint efforts on issues of global concern amid current challenges, such as artificial intelligence, transnational crimes, and also multi-national issues, including the reform of the United Nations.
