เข้าร่วมการประชุมต่าง ๆ ตามคำเชิญของนายกรัฐมนตรีมาเลเซีย
เมื่อวันที่ 12 – 13 ตุลาคม 2568 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เดินทางเยือนมาเลเซียในลักษณะ Working Visit เพื่อเข้าร่วมการประชุมต่าง ๆ ตามคำเชิญของนายกรัฐมนตรีมาเลเซีย ในฐานะประธานอาเซียน
ในวันที่ 12 ตุลาคม 2568 รัฐมนตรีฯ ได้เข้าร่วมการหารือสี่ฝ่ายระหว่างมาเลเซีย สหรัฐฯ ไทย และกัมพูชา ซึ่งเป็นการหารือต่อเนื่องลักษณะเดียวกันกับที่นครนิวยอร์ก เมื่อวันที่ 26 กันยายน 2568
ในครั้งนี้ ได้มีการหารือประเด็นต่าง ๆ ที่ยังคั่งค้างอยู่อย่างตรงไปตรงมา เพื่อลดความตึงเครียดตามแนวชายแดนและให้มีการปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงหยุดยิงอย่างเคร่งครัด โดยฝ่ายไทยย้ำความสำคัญของกลไกทวิภาคี การแสดงความจริงใจในการปฎิบัติตามสิ่งที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ตกลงกันไว้
นอกจากนี้ ฝ่ายไทยได้ย้ำความสำคัญของความมั่นคงปลอดภัยตามแนวชายแดนไทยกัมพูชา โดยเน้นประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่ การถอนอาวุธหนักออกจากพื้นที่ชายแดน การร่วมกันเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิด การปราบปรามอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ และการให้ความร่วมมือบริหารจัดการบริเวณพื้นที่ชายแดน เช่นในกรณีบ้านหนองจานและบ้านหนองหญ้าแก้ว ทั้งนี้ หวังจะเห็นความจริงใจของกัมพูชาเพื่อให้ทั้งสองฝ่ายบรรลุเป้าประสงค์ในทางปฏิบัติเพื่อสันติภาพและความสงบสุขของประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศ
On 12 – 13 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a Working Visit to Malaysia to attend meetings at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, in his capacity as ASEAN Chair.
On 12 October 2025, FM attended four-party consultations between Malaysia, the United States, Thailand, and Cambodia, following up on a similar meeting held in New York on 26 September 2025.
The meeting advanced discussions on outstanding matters, the way forward to de-escalate tensions and ensure tangible progress on the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. The Thai side stressed the importance of the bilateral mechanisms between the two sides, which have led to notable progress in recent months, and the need to achieve progress on issues which have been agreed by the Thai and Cambodian sides.
The Thai side also reaffirmed the importance of security and stability along the Thai–Cambodian border, highlighting key areas such as the withdrawal of heavy weaponry from border areas, joint demining efforts, combating transnational crime, and cooperation on the management of border areas, including Ban Nong Chan and Ban Nong Ya Kaeo. Thailand emphasized the need for Cambodia to demonstrate sincerity so that both sides could achieve their shared goals of peace and stability for the people of the two countries.
