รมว.กต. @AmbPoohMaris ลงพื้นที่ จ.สุรินทร์ ร่วมคณะรักษาการ นรม. เดินทางตรวจเยี่ยมโรงพยาบาลพนมดงรักเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 80 พรรษา
อยู่ห่างจากชายแดนกัมพูชากว่า 10 กิโลเมตร และได้รับความเสียหายจากการโจมตีของกองกำลังกัมพูชาด้วยอาวุธหนัก ส่งผลให้มีประชาชนเสียชีวิต ได้รับบาดเจ็บและอาคารได้รับความเสียหาย
จากนั้น รมว. กต. ร่วมเดินทางไปโรงเรียนพนมดงรักวิทยา เพื่อพบปะและให้กำลังใจประชาชนประมาณ 300 คน พร้อมทั้งร่วมมอบชุดให้ชุดรักษาความปลอดภัยหมู่บ้าน (ชรบ.) และรับฟังการรายงานสถานการณ์ จากนายอำเภอพนมดงรัก
การเดินทางลงพื้นที่ครั้งนี้ นอกจากจะมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเยี่ยมเยียนและให้กำลังใจเจ้าหน้าที่ที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในพื้นที่ชายแดน และประชาชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชาแล้ว ยังเป็นโอกาสให้รับฟังข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับการวางทุ่นระเบิดของกองทัพกัมพูชา ซึ่งเป็นการละเมิดกฎหมายมนุษธรรมระหว่างประเทศ (International Humanitarian Law: IHL) และอนุสัญญาห้ามทุ่นระเบิดสังหารบุคคล หรืออนุสัญญาออตตาวา ซึ่งที่ผ่านมา กระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้ดำเนินการร้องเรียนในเวทีระหว่างประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องใน 2 ประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่ ประเด็นทุ่นระเบิด และการโจมตีเป้าหมายพลเรือน อย่างต่อเนื่องมาโดยตลอด (9 สิงหาคม 2568)
FM @AmbPoohMaris visited Surin Province alongside the Acting Prime Minister to inspect Phanom Dong Rak Chalerm Phra Kiat 80th Anniversary Hospital, located over 10 kilometers from the Cambodian border, which sustained damage following an attack by Cambodian armed forces with heavy artillery, resulting in civilian deaths, injuries, and structural damage.
The Foreign Minister also visited Phanom Dong Rak Wittaya School to meet and express support for approximately 300 local residents. He also presented a donation of Village Security Volunteer uniforms, and received a situation briefing from the District chief.This visit aimed not only to offer moral support to frontline officers and civilians affected by the Thai-Cambodian border situation, but also to gather further information regarding the use of landmines by Cambodian military forces, which constitutes violations of international humanitarian law (IHL) and the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (Ottawa Convention). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has consistently condemned and protested this recent use of landmines and attacks on civilian targets in various international fora. (9 August 2025)
