พิธีมอบเงินช่วยเหลือและสิ่งของบรรเทาทุกข์แก่ผู้ประสบภัยจากเหตุการณ์น้ำหลากฉับพลันและดินถล่มรุนแรงในเนปาล
เมื่อวันที่ 4 กันยายน 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเข้าร่วมเป็นสักขีพยานในพิธีมอบเงินช่วยเหลือและสิ่งของบรรเทาทุกข์แก่ผู้ประสบภัยจากเหตุการณ์น้ำหลากฉับพลันและดินถล่มรุนแรงในเนปาลในนามของรัฐบาลไทยให้แก่รัฐบาลเนปาล โดยมีนายอนุทิน
ชาญวีรกูล นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทยเป็นประธานในพิธี และนายธัน พหาทุร โอลิ เอกอัครราชทูตเนปาลประจำประเทศไทยเป็นผู้รับมอบ
ความช่วยเหลือจากรัฐบาลไทยประกอบด้วยเงินช่วยเหลือจำนวน 7 ล้านบาทจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และสิ่งของจำเป็นเพื่อสนับสนุนการช่วยเหลือและบรรเทาทุกข์จากกระทรวงสาธารณสุข กรมป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย กระทรวงมหาดไทย และภาคเอกชน
การให้ความช่วยเหลือในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงมิตรภาพอันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างสองประเทศ โดยประเทศไทยและประชาชนชาวไทยพร้อมยืนเคียงข้างเนปาลในช่วงสถานการณ์ที่ยากลำบาก
On 4 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the handover ceremony of financial assistance and emergency relief supplies offered by the Royal Thai Government to the Government of Nepal for those affected by severe flash floods and mudslides in Nepal. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, with H.E. Mr. Dhan Bahadur Oli, Ambassador of Nepal to Thailand, receiving the assistance on behalf of his Government.
The assistance comprises 7 million baht in financial assistance, provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as essential relief supplies contributed by the Ministry of Public Health, Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation under the Ministry of Interior, and the Thai private sector. The assistance is intended to support ongoing relief operations, alleviate the hardship faced by affected communities, and contribute to post-disaster recovery efforts.
The provision of assistance reflects Thailand’s longstanding friendship and solidarity with Nepal and its people in times of hardship.
