เวทีเสวนา Nikkei Forum Future of Asia ครั้งที่ 31 ณ กรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น
เมื่อวันที่ 10 มิถุนายน 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กล่าวปาฐกถาในเวทีเสวนา Nikkei Forum Future of Asia ครั้งที่ 31 ณ กรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งจัดภายใต้หัวข้อหลัก “Working Together for a More Resilient and Prosperous Asia”
รองนายกรัฐมนตรีฯ ย้ำ “อนาคตของโลกอยู่ที่เอเชีย” และความสำเร็จของเอเชียไม่ได้เกิดจากการเติบโตของประเทศใดประเทศหนึ่ง แต่เกิดจากความสามารถของประเทศต่าง ๆ ในภูมิภาคในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือและใช้ประโยชน์จากศักยภาพร่วมกัน บนปัจจัยสำคัญ 2 ประการ ได้แก่ (1) การบูรณาการ (Integration) ที่ประเทศต่าง ๆ ต้องเชื่อมโยงกันมากกว่าด้านการค้าและการลงทุน แต่รวมถึงด้านพลังงาน ดิจิทัล นวัตกรรม และการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ และ (2) การร่วมสร้างสรรค์ (Co-creation) โดยใช้จุดแข็งที่แตกต่างกันของแต่ละประเทศเพื่อสร้างระบบนิเวศด้านองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรม
ในโอกาสนี้ ได้เสนอ 3 แนวทางในการสร้างอนาคตของเอเชีย ได้แก่ (1) การเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็ง (Resilience) ผ่านการพัฒนาความมั่นคงด้านอาหารและพลังงาน การยกระดับทักษะแรงงาน และการสร้างห่วงโซ่อุปทานที่เข้มแข็ง (2) การเพิ่มพูนความเชื่อมโยง (Connectivity) ทั้งด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน ดิจิทัล พลังงาน การเงิน และการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระหว่างประเทศในภูมิภาค และ (3) การส่งเสริมภูมิภาคนิยม (Regionalism) โดยมีอาเซียนเป็นแกนกลางในการสร้างความไว้เนื้อเชื่อใจ ส่งเสริมการหารือและแก้ไขข้อขัดแย้ง พร้อมย้ำความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของเอเชียต้องควบคู่ไปกับการรักษาสันติภาพ เสถียรภาพ และการยึดมั่นในระเบียบระหว่างประเทศที่ตั้งอยู่บนกฎกติกา
นอกจากนี้ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีฯ ยังได้ให้สัมภาษณ์ในรูปแบบ fireside chat บนเวทีและให้สัมภาษณ์สื่อในเครือ Nikkei เกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์เศรษฐกิจและนโยบายการทูตเศรษฐกิจของไทยท่ามกลางความผันผวนของภูมิเศรษฐศาสตร์โลก รวมถึงท่าทีไทยในประเด็นภูมิภาคที่อยู่ความสนใจของญี่ปุ่น อาทิ สถานการณ์ตะวันออกกลางสถานการณ์ไทย-กัมพูชา และเมียนมา รวมทั้งได้หารือกับนาย Iida Nobihisa ประธานบริษัท Nikkei Inc. ย้ำความร่วมมือกับ Nikkei โดยเฉพาะการจัดงาน Nikkei Asia Forum APAC 2026 ที่กรุงเทพฯ ในวันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2569 และกิจกรรมอื่น ๆ ในอนาคต
ทั้งนี้ การประชุม Nikkei Forum Future of Asia เป็นเวทีเสวนาระหว่างประเทศที่มีชื่อเสียงระดับโลกมากว่า 3 ทศวรรษ มีผู้นำรัฐบาล ผู้บริหารองค์การระหว่างประเทศและภาคธุรกิจชั้นนำรวมถึงสื่อมวลชน นักธุรกิจ และนักวิชาการมีชื่อเสียงในภูมิภาคมาร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองอย่างต่อเนื่องทุกปี
On 10 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, delivered a keynote address at the 31st Nikkei Forum Future of Asia in Tokyo, Japan, organised under the theme “Working Together for a More Resilient and Prosperous Asia.”
The Deputy Prime Minister underscored that “the future is Asia” and its success is not the result of the rise of any single country, but rather of the ability of countries across the region to strengthen cooperation and harness their collective strengths. He identified two crucial factors for the future of Asia. First, “integration”, whereby countries must become connected not only through trade and investment, but also through energy systems, digital and innovation networks, and talent pools. Second, “co-creation”, through which countries leverage their diverse strengths to build a shared ecosystem of knowledge and innovation.
The Deputy Prime Minister also outlined Thailand’s three key priorities in shaping Asia’s future. First, enhancing “resilience” through stronger food and energy security, skills development, and enhanced supply chains. Second, strengthening “connectivity” across infrastructure, digital systems, energy networks, financial platforms, and the exchange of knowledge throughout the region. Third, fostering “regionalism”, with ASEAN as the region’s essential platform for dialogue, confidence-building, and managing differences. The prosperity of Asia must go hand in hand with the preservation of peace, stability, and commitment to the international rules-based order.
On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister participated in an on-stage fireside chat and gave an interview to Nikkei-affiliated media on Thailand’s economic landscape and economic diplomacy amid changing global geo-economic environment and Thailand’s position on regional issues of Japan’s interest, such as the economic impact of the Middle East situation, the Thailand-Cambodia situation and the situation in Myanmar. He also met with Mr. Iida Nobihisa, President and CEO of Nikkei Inc. to discuss cooperation with Nikkei, including the organisation of Nikkei Asia Forum APAC in Bangkok on 16 July 2026 and other future activities.
