เปิดการประชุมสหประชาชาติจำลองแห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ประจำปี ค.ศ. 2026
เมื่อวันที่ 3 เมษายน 2569 นายพืชภพ มงคลนาวิน รองอธิบดีกรมองค์การระหว่างประเทศ กล่าวเปิดการประชุมสหประชาชาติจำลองแห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ประจำปี ค.ศ. 2026 (Annual Chulalongkorn Model United Nations Conference 2026) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Braving the Waves: Navigating the Changing Dynamics of the New World Order” ณ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยมีนายพิษณุ สุวรรณะชฎ รองประธานกรรมการ C asean นางสาวมาริสา ปัณยาชีวะ ผู้แทนสำนักงานผู้ประสานงานสหประชาชาติประจำประเทศไทย และรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สุกัญญา สมไพบูลย์ รองอธิการบดีจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เข้าร่วมด้วย
รองอธิบดีฯ เน้นย้ำบทบาทของเยาวชนในการเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศในอนาคต ซึ่งการประชุมสหประชาชาติจำลองฯ เป็นเวทีให้ผู้นำเยาวชนได้ฝึกทักษะในการเจรจา สัมผัสบทบาทของนักการทูต และแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในประเด็นระดับโลก ทั้งยังกล่าวถึงความสำคัญของระบบพหุภาคีโดยมีสหประชาชาติเป็นศูนย์กลาง เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือ การหารือ และการสร้างฉันทามติในการรับมือกับความท้าทายต่าง ๆ ในยุคปัจจุบัน
On 3 April 2026, Mr. Phuchphop Mongkolnavin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, delivered the opening remarks at the Annual Chulalongkorn Model United Nations Conference 2026, under the theme “Braving the Waves: Navigating the Changing Dynamics of the New World Order” at Chulalongkorn University. Also in attendance was Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Vice Chairman of C asean, Ms. Marisa Panyachiva, Representative of the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office, and Associate Professor Dr. Sukanya Sompiboon, Vice-President of Chulalongkorn University.
The Deputy Director-General underscored the vital role of youth in shaping the future of international relations and the importance of Chula MUN as a platform for young leaders to practice negotiation skills, experience the role of diplomacy, and exchange perspectives on global issues. He also emphasized the significance of multilateralism with the United Nations at its core in promoting cooperation, dialogue, and consensus-building to address modern day challenges.
