แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับนาย Aisawa Ichiro ประธานกลุ่มมิตรภาพรัฐสภาญี่ปุ่น – ไทย และสมาชิกรัฐสภาญี่ปุ่น ณ กรุงโตเกียว
เมื่อวันที่ 18 ธันวาคม 2568 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เข้าพบและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับนาย Aisawa Ichiro ประธานกลุ่มมิตรภาพรัฐสภาญี่ปุ่น – ไทย และสมาชิกรัฐสภาญี่ปุ่น ณ กรุงโตเกียว เพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทยกับญี่ปุ่นผ่านฝ่ายรัฐภา
รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแสดงความยินดีที่ได้พบผู้แทนรัฐสภาญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งหลายท่านมีความคุ้นเคยกันมาอย่างยาวนาน พร้อมย้ำถึงความสำคัญของความสัมพันธ์ไทย – ญี่ปุ่นในฐานะหุ้นส่วนยุทธศาสตร์ที่ใกล้ชิดและยาวนาน โดยได้ขอบคุณฝ่ายญี่ปุ่นที่ให้การสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมการดำเนินธุรกิจของบริษัทญี่ปุ่นในประเทศไทยอย่างต่อเนื่อง อันมีส่วนสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของทั้งสองประเทศ
รัฐมนตรีฯ ได้ชี้แจงสถานการณ์การเมืองภายในของไทย ซึ่งอยู่ในช่วงการเปลี่ยนผ่าน โดยรัฐบาลให้ความสำคัญกับการเสริมสร้างเสถียรภาพ โดยเฉพาะด้านเศรษฐกิจและการต่างประเทศ ผ่านการนำผู้เชี่ยวชาญเข้ามามีบทบาทในการขับเคลื่อนนโยบาย พร้อมทั้งได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและชี้แจงท่าทีไทยเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย – กัมพูชา และสถานการณ์ในเมียนมาซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างการเตรียมการเลือกตั้ง
ฝ่ายญี่ปุ่นแสดงความพร้อมสนับสนุนบทบาทของไทยในเวทีระหว่างประเทศ รวมถึงกรอบ OECD ขณะที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทวิภาคีในด้านต่าง ๆ อาทิ อุตสาหกรรมป้องกันประเทศ ความร่วมมือทางวัฒนธรรม และการแลกเปลี่ยนระดับรัฐสภา โดยญี่ปุ่นขอบคุณไทยที่เข้าร่วมงาน Green Expo 2027 และแสดงความสนใจจะจัดคณะผู้แทนรัฐสภาญี่ปุ่นเยือนไทยในอนาคต รวมถึงการหารือกิจกรรมเฉลิมฉลองในโอกาสครบรอบ 140 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย – ญี่ปุ่น เพื่อเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศต่อไป
On 18 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held discussions with H.E. Mr. Aisawa Ichiro, Chairman of the Japan – Thailand Parliamentary Friendship Group, together with members of the Japanese National Diet, with a view to strengthening relations and promoting cooperation between Thailand and Japan through parliamentary channels.
The Minister expressed his pleasure at meeting the representatives of the Japanese National Diet, many of whom he has known for a long time, and reaffirmed the importance of Thailand – Japan relations as a close and long-standing strategic partnership. He also expressed appreciation to the Japanese side for its continued support and promotion of the operations of Japanese companies in Thailand, which has made a significant contribution to the economic development of both countries.
The Minister briefed the Japanese side on Thailand’s domestic political situation, which is currently in a period of transition, noting that the Government places priority on strengthening stability, particularly in the economic and foreign policy spheres, through the engagement of experts in driving policy implementation. He also exchanged views on Thailand’s positions regarding the Thai – Cambodian border situation and the situation in Myanmar, which is in the process of preparing for elections.
The Japanese side expressed its readiness to support Thailand’s role in international fora, including within the OECD framework. Both sides agreed to further promote bilateral cooperation in various areas, such as the defence industry, cultural cooperation, and parliamentary exchanges. Japan also thanked Thailand for its participation in Green Expo 2027 and expressed interest in sending a Japanese parliamentary delegation to visit Thailand in the future, as well as in discussing activities to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Thailand – Japan diplomatic relations, with a view to further strengthening the close ties between the peoples of the two countries.
